Photos left show how the
Electro Arc process disintegrates only the center out of a broken tap. And
because the cut is continuously flushed with coolant, not even the tap's threads
are heated up. Once the center is cut out, the tap's cutting flutes are easily
removed from the hole.

Remove frozen studs
by cutting two cylindrical holes as shown. Insert a pin in each hole
and turn out the stud. Or cut a series of holes across the diameter
and cut the stud in half. |
